Busy week, both work and play
Been a busy week with work and craft groups plus a lovely meet up with some crafting buddies. We try and catch up as much as we can and chat and try to get some crafting in lol
Yesterday we played with Brusho powders and now , myself and Linda, have ordered our own sets, our crafty meet ups are getting expensive :) Last week it was Stamping Up, the week before , Clarity, it is always something we have to have :)
Loved the way the brusho powder explodes into a gorgeous array of colours and cannot wait for my order to arrive xx

Merry Monday House Challenge
Thought I would think outside the box and do a birdhouse using a favourite project from Cardmaking Paradise. The roof is embossed then Treasure gold Aquamarine used to highlight, the base card coloured with distress stain Bundled Sage and stamped image is a very old PSX. xx

This is from a workshop I took with two lots of lovely ladies, I had been on an Indigo Blu retreat and this is a smaller version of a project we made there.
I sized it down and changed from spritzing the watered down paints and sponged instead as saved mister getting blocked, in fact, sponging ended up being my preferred way of adding the colour. The paper roses were painted and gave a nice finish and everyone turned out such different yet great pieces of artwork,
The beginning of my journal journey
I have used a technique from February Craft Stamper to create the front cover. It is on page 87 and called Gesso Smoosh and was very messy to do ( several mucky towels will vouch for that :) )and did take awhile to dry but cheated and speeded it up with a heat gun after still not dry from leaving overnight .
I then used Treasure gold in White Fire, Amethyst and lilac to highlight it all and now need to embellish the front .
